Claire graduated in 2008, spent years in public health service developing the acute breast surgery services. Trained to be a Lymphoedema Therapist in 2011 and guest lectured at AUT to the student physiotherapists. Ongoing work with AUT Physiotherapy students in their research projects including working to get published in a journal regarding Axillary Web Syndrome (an issue that can present after breast surgery) for a previous project and continuing to work on this in a new project with new students at AUT this year. Claire also has a special interest in head and neck cancer rehabilitation.

Ian has worked in private practice since graduating from Trinity College Dublin with honours in 2011. He completed his masters in Sports and Exercise medicine in 2015. He has worked with sports teams over the past 5 years mainly rugby and hockey. Ian moved to New Zealand in 2015 and has worked with us since. His main interests are in orthopaedic, back and sports injuries. Ian has also completed one year teaching anatomy to Medical and health science students in Ireland.

Joy graduated from AUT in 2018. Originally from China, Joy has been in New Zealand for more than ten years. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. With a background of Eastern mindfulness practice and Physiotherapy training, Joy values a holistic approach when working with her patients. Before getting into Physiotherapy, she studied Psychology and Nutrition which enabled her to appreciate other aspects of personal wellbeing. Joy’s main interests in Physiotherapy are musculoskeletal and working with the paediatric population. She has also completed her level one Pilates course and is hoping to include more mind and body techniques into her practice.

Katie is a muscoloskeletal physio with a Bachelor of Health Science who has recently joined our team. When she's not here she's working with top sports teams both in football which is a passion as well as the New Zealand Women’s ice hockey team the Ice Fernz. She is studying for a post graduate health science certificate focusing on sports psychology and vocational rehab.

Patrice graduated from both her Bachelors and Doctorate in Physiotherapy with honours. She used to run track and field competitively in primary and high school which is where her interest in physiotherapy began. After moving to New Zealand in 2016 and saw the women's health opportunities she jumped straight into her Pilates training which she completed in 2017 and completed her PINC Cancer Rehabilitation training in early 2018. » View details
Viv is an experienced physio working in private physiotherapy for 25 years. She holds a Masters in Health Practice specializing in Acupuncture, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. Her special interests are acupuncture, orthopaedic paediatrics, and sports physio, in particular netball. She has previously worked for many elite netball teams including the Northern Mystics and the England National squad.
