Aoife has recently joined the Active Ellerslie team having relocated to Auckland from Ireland. Aoife completed her BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy in University College Dublin, qualifying in 2015. Since qualifying Aoife has worked in the clinic setting, with sports teams and has also spent time working in hospitals. Mark joined theTeam at Active Plus Ellerslie in July 2013 and has an interest in all forms of musculoskeletal injury. He employs the use of soft tissue techniques, mobilisation and exercise prescription in his treatment approach and has been trained in Mulligan manual therapy techniques of which he has a particular interest. Sarah studied Physiotherapy at Otago University in the early 1990's and has worked around New Zealand, in London and Sydney. She is now settled in locally with three children and been with Active+ for 5 years. Her interests are in the management and treatment of all musculoskeletal complaints, using mobilisations, massage, exercise prescription and dry needling. Stacey has been working at Active Plus for eight years specializing in acute treatment and pilates based rehab. In her time at Active Physio she has studied pilates equipment and mat training and take a course in musculoskeletal biomechanics. Her physiotherapy special interests include acute management of musculoskeletal injuries, massage and ongoing pilates strengthening for maintenance of long term injuries. Stacey is a certified PINC Pilates provider working with women post cancer diagnosis and treatment. She is a certified pilates instructor and instructs on an individual and group basis.» View details
