Alyssa has previously worked with the Team NZ Cheerleading team for 4 years, including 2 trips to America for their Worlds competition where they won gold. She also has experience with rugby and football teams. Alyssa's physiotherapy special interests include pilates, cancer rehabilitation, sports injuries, and work related injuries. After a gap year in the UK Jaz came back to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at AUT and graduated in 2012. With an extensive sporting background and a passion for health and wellbeing, Physiotherapy was a natural career path and one he absolutely loves. Since graduating, Jaz has gained broad experience working in both the public hospitals and private practise. Jaz has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, in particular injury prevention and chronic myofascial pain. His philosophy on health is holistic and he strongly believes the role of the physiotherapist is get to the underlying cause of the problem. To further broaden his knowledge, he is currently undertaking post-grad study at AUT in nutrition. In his spare time, Jaz plays for the local Kaipara Flats Premier cricket team, reads a tonne of books and spins some serious yarns. » View details

Mel graduated with his BHSc (Physiotherapy) in December 2016. Since then, he has been working in musculoskeletal private practice focusing on rehabilitating a wide-range of sporting, overuse, chronic and acute injuries. Mel has recently moved up north for the lifestyle and to get out of Auckland city’s traffic rush. His passion has always been for sports in particular surfing, skiing, rugby, tennis, and anything else which includes physical activity and the great outdoors. He has a particular interest in working with surfers so they don't miss out on too much time in the water! Rebecca graduated from AUT in 2008 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. She has since worked in private practice and enjoys treating a wide range of injuries, with a special interest in spinal and back injuries. In 2009 Rebecca was awarded a Post Graduate Scholarship to attend the Mackenzie courses. This has enhanced her competency in the physiotherapy field to diagnose and treat spinal injuries using MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis & Treatment). She has developed a strong passion for treating spinal injuries using this approach. Rebecca also has an interest in manual therapy and is currently studying the Mulligan concept to further her education and enhance her current skill base. » View details
