Miss Jessica Machado da Cruz
Podiatrist
Jessica gained her Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry from the Auckland University of Technology. She moved to Christchurch to join the Active Health team and is passionate about helping people get back to doing what they love. Jessica thrives when helping people in all aspects of podiatry, including diabetes, paediatrics, general foot care, footwear advice and biomechanical injuries. She is based at the main clinic on Manchester street and is also located at the New Brighton clinic. Jessica has grown up all over the world, she has lived in Dubai, Qatar and Europe. Miss Julia Oppert
Podiatrist
BHSc (Pod) Julia qualified as a Podiatrist in 2017 and has recently moved to Christchurch from the North Island to join Active Health’s team. Having represented Waikato in both water-polo and netball, she has developed great interest towards the biomechanics of the lower limb and injury prevention. Julia is enthusiastic and passionate about all aspects of Podiatry ranging from footwear, sports, paediatrics, diabetes and the overall health and wellbeing of the individual.
