Jo graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science – Physiotherapy degree from Sydney University in 1998. Upon graduation, Jo worked in the Public Health systems both in Australia and England, before moving to NZ in 2002. Since moving to NZ Jo has worked within the private practice setting. Her passion for sport and fitness has seen her work with the inaugural LG Mystics netball team, training camps for U13/U15 NZ football, Auckland-Waitakere Netball NPC teams, The Diamonds netball team, NZ Secondary Schools netball team, The Sonics Women’s Basketball team, and more recently Touch North Harbour Masters teams at Nationals and the World Master’s Games. Jo has a hands on approach to treatment and rehabilitation, and regularly attends courses to remain up to date with the current knowledge within the field of Physiotherapy. View details »

Mr Giovanni Comuzzo

Giovanni (or Gio as he is known to his patients) is the principal physiotherapist of Performance Rehab. Upon graduating from university in 2010 he gained further specialised qualifications in rehabilitation with a return to work and pain management focus. Given the reputation Giovanni has built up in Auckland this has allowed him to create strong working relationships with some of Auckland’s top Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Physicians allowing for prompt management and care of specific injuries/conditions. In his spare time Giovanni is kept busy serving his community by completing regular weekly shifts as a volunteer fire fighter and likes to keep an active lifestyle. View details »

Mr Kurt Donaldson

Mr Kurt Donaldson

Physiotherapist

Kurt graduated from the Auckland University of Technology with his physiotherapy qualifications in 2014. He has gone on to complete post graduate training including a Postgraduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture. Kurt continues to further his education and is currently completing a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at AUT. He has gained experience working overseas in Australia and the United Kingdom. During this time he also been the team physiotherapist for several sports teams including various rugby union and rugby league teams. Kurt is passionate about providing quality physiotherapy treatment. His special interests include working with sporting related injuries and shoulder and neck conditions. In his downtime, Kurt maintains an active lifestyle. His interests include golf, squash and free diving. View details »
