Hi, my name is Kourtney and I am a born and raised kiwi. I graduated from AUT with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy, mid 2022. I chose physio as my career path, as I have always been involved in sports and activity, and I love helping other people. Throughout my studies and involvement with rugby teams, I developed a fascination with the musculoskeletal aspects of the human body, and how to best support it in recovery from injury. I believe that an injury and the recovery process is so much more than just the physical aspect, which is why I am so excited to be a part of the Proactive team who value and demonstrate a holistic and empowering approach to your care. Hi, my name is Tomas and I am a chartered physiotherapist from Ireland. Back in Ireland, I completed a Bachelors degree in Athletic Therapy and Training before completing a post-graduate degree in Physiotherapy in the University of Limerick which I finished in 2021. I have a strong interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and love to help people of all ages and sizes recover from their injury. Before coming to Auckland last year, I previously worked in a private clinic while also gaining over five years of experience working with sports teams and treating sports injuries back in Ireland. I love to promote the use of exercise and I love to educate people on how helpful exercise can be. I also have a post-graduate qualification in Dry Needling Therapy which may help you through your recovery.
