Nishil graduated from University of East London (UK) and University of Brighton (UK). He is Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 11 years’ experience with previous roles at Harlequins RL (UK), Tennis NZ, South Canterbury RFU, Victoria Rep Netball (AUS) and triathletes in Wellington, NZ.
Nishil is a McKenzie Credentialed Therapist and has trained in Western Musculoskeletal Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation, Clinical Pilates and Kinesiotaping. He is currently completing a Research-based Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health due to finish in Aug 2018.
Prior to physiotherapy, Nishil has worked as an Exercise Consultant with the NHS (UK) and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Dalhousie University (Canada). Combining skills in private-practice, sports physiotherapy and sports science, he can provide comprehensive injury management from the time of onset to restoration of full functional movement including providing information on possible causes of injury and potential strategies for prevention.
He enjoys climbing, mountaineering, cycle touring and multi-sport events in his spare time.
