Peter has been studying over the past decade learning about the human body in performance and disease. He is a graduate of the University of Otago schools of Physiotherapy and Physical education, Sport & Exercise sciences. Peter is an avid sportsman competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, as well as enjoying rock climbing, gymnastics, snowboarding and other combat sports. Antony is a keen sports person and will ‘give anything a go’. He plays squash, Crossfit, ju jitsu, and 5 a-side football. He enjoys movies, theatre, live music, comic books, drumming and sudoku.
Since graduating from the Cardiff School of Physiotherapy, University of Wales in 1994 Antony has worked in England, Scotland, Wales, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
He is trained in the “McKenzie Method” of assessing and treating spinal conditions and the “Explain Pain” model for understanding and managing chronic pain conditions.
During his long career Antony has worked with sports people and artistes of all ages from grass-roots to international level. He has a special interest in work rehabilitation and has recently trained in “MovNat”, “Functional Movement Screening” and dry needling. Kirsten graduated from the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013. She has been working on cruise ships performing acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine with patients who suffer from pain; Back pain, arthritis, sports injuries, joint pain, postoperative recovery and headaches/migraines. Kirsten also has learned skills to treat a large range of other concerns including weight loss, digestion concerns, stress and anxiety etc. She is very passionate about Acupuncture, thrives on helping people and seeing the amazing changes and results in them over a course of treatments. Kirsten is very thankful for the time that she has spent working on cruise ships for the past two years and has learnt a lot however she is enjoying working with a dedicated team onshore.
