Shanika graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Colombo in 2021, Diploma in Exercises and Sports sciences from university of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and has found her passion in the field of hand therapy. She has spent 5 years working in private practice as a physiotherapist in Sri Lanka. Shanika joined the Active Hand Rehab Team in early 2025 and is actively working toward obtaining full hand therapy registration.

Kursty graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2024, where she developed a strong interest in hand therapy. She is passionate about delivering a positive and holistic approach to clinical care, and finds great fulfillment in supporting individuals from all backgrounds to regain independence and enhance their quality of life by working collaboratively toward their personal goals.
Kursty is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in hand and upper limb therapy, aiming to become a registered hand therapist.

Marysia graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2017. After a few years working in the field Marysia fell in love with hand therapy and began work as an associate hand therapist. Marysia has completed her post graduate qualification in hand and upper limb to gain full membership status as a registered Hand Therapist. Marysia enjoys the challenge of working in a specialised area of the upper limb and thrives off enabling clients to return to activities important to them. Marysia prides herself on the ability to connect with the variety of individuals and tailor rehabilitation programmes to the person.
