Michelle qualified as a physiotherapist in 1994. In 1999 she completed a postgraduate qualification in manual therapy and manipulation, and in 2000 her interest in combining her manual and rehabilitation skills with the use of different forms of acupuncture began. Initially, Michelle trained in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, then in Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling. More recently Michelle has been awarded a distinction at Masters Level in Physiotherapy, endorsed in acupuncture.
Michelle thrives on challenges and specialises in complex injuries, chronic pain, and also has a particular interest in shoulders. Her ability to analyse and fully comprehend complex and painful conditions is one of Michelle’s strengths, which then allows her to formulate a complete package of rehabilitative needs. Michelle never only treats the presenting symptoms but will endeavour to put right any of the contributing factors to the pain or disorder.View details »
