After graduating in 2002, Nicola spent most of her time working, training and traveling overseas primarily in Australia and the UK. She arrived at Back On Track in 2011 and became a Director in 2013. Nicola has worked in many different private practices and also spent a year working with the military in the UK. She enjoys treating muscle imbalances around the pelvis and shoulder girdle as well as lumbar and cervical injuries. She is passionate about getting to original cause for injuries and helping people getting back to the things they love. For a number of years now, she has been using the Thoracic Ring Approach, a relatively new and exciting way of looking at dysfunction in the Thorax and its implications on the rest of the body. In addition to this she is certified in Myofascial Release, a techniques she uses frequently and is also trained in the Bradcliffe Breathing Method. Nicola was a very competitive rower in her younger days and still loves pushing herself in trail running events. In addition to trail running she loves mountain biking, snowboarding and has recently made the switch back to skiing. She has 2 busy kids keeping her on her toes so life is busy! Annaliese graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016. She returned to work in her hometown, Tauranga, and has since moved to Queenstown to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Annaliese has pursued working in Private practice Physiotherapy including being involved with Vocation Rehabilitation. She is passionate about connecting with people to support working through the physical and overall well being struggles that come with injury. Annaliese is passionate about biomechanics, assistance with getting back to work and injury prevention.
