Sara has over 33 years of experience in physiotherapy and more than 20 years working as a Registered Hand Therapist. Her career has been wonderfully varied- starting in hospital musculoskeletal care, then moving into private practice where she owned and ran a successful clinic in Timaru for 18 years. Sara is also currently the Secretary for Hand Therapy New Zealand (HTNZ). She loves the problem-solving side of hand therapy and is known for taking on complex cases — including diagnosing conditions that hadn’t been recognised before and working alongside surgeons to test and treat them.
