Originally from Scotland, Alison has a special interest in shoulder injuries, complex musculoskeletal conditions and the older patient, using a wide range of advanced techniques to solve challenging cases. As a former Great Britain National Talent Archery Coach, Alison has a unique eye for biomechanics and is passionate about tailoring exercises to each individual. She has ten years of experience in private practices in the UK focusing on sports injuries as well as working for the public health service in Christchurch in orthopaedics. She is trained in myofascial release, Mackenzie techniques, dry needling, and JEMS movement practice. Having travelled the globe with Kiwi husband Andy and their two boys, she has now settled in Wanaka and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, walking and snowshoeing with her dog Tana and can often be found on golf courses in and around Central Otago.
