Originally from the Czech Republic, Marie has been working in the physiotherapy field for over 4 years and has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She is experienced in treating acute and chronic injures and pre and post-surgical rehabilitation. Marie has additional training in deep tissue and sports massage, fascia release, visceral manipulation, kinaesthetic mobilisation, Pilates mat instruction and dry needling. View details »

Her career has been wonderfully varied- starting in hospital musculoskeletal care, then moving into private practice where she owned and ran a successful clinic in Timaru for 18 years. Sara is also currently the Secretary for Hand Therapy New Zealand (HTNZ). She loves the problem-solving side of hand therapy and is known for taking on complex cases — including diagnosing conditions that hadn’t been recognised before and working alongside surgeons to test and treat them.
