Hailing from Titirangi in West Auckland, I ventured south in search of a more relaxed lifestyle for my three children. I have been a podiatrist for 18 years and also hold qualifications in sports coaching and athlete development. I have worked as the lead podiatrist for High Performance Sport New Zealand, as well as supporting athletes from the Highlanders, Otago Rugby, Honda Heat, and the Auckland netball franchises the Stars and Northern Mystics. I started my career working in a large sports podiatry practise in Australia where I gained experience in sports podiatry and orthotic manufacture. On returning to New Zealand I worked for four years as a diabetes Podiatrist in the Dunedin hospital. Following that I studied foot surgery and in 2002 graduated from the New Zealand College of Podiatric Surgery.
