Tomu is originally from Japan and completed his undergraduate study through Otago University in 2009. He has a special interest in manual therapy and exercise based rehabilitation. His biggest passion is sports physiotherapy especially rugby which he has been playing for over 20 years including a stint of a professional career in Japan. Tomu plays touch rugby and plays for North Harbour age grade, he also made his debut in 2017 with the NZ Masters Touch Team.
Tomu is currently undertaking his Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, so keeping himself busy and constantly learning so he can provide the best care for his clients.
