Having competed internationally as a gymnast, Alexy developed a deep interest and appreciation for the human body. Pursuing a career in physiotherapy has allowed him to explore his curiosity surrounding rehabilitation and performance. His interests lie in movement and exercise-based therapy, aiming to educate and guide people through their own self-management. He is passionate about providing evidence-based practice and is committed to fostering a patient-centred environment. He sees the importance of well-being and aims to help his patients become the best version of themselves. Alexy has provided pitch-side and clinic-based sports physiotherapy for local rugby clubs and is now working with the St Bedes 1XV. Outside of the clinic, you will find him in the gym, playing a variety of social sports or on the golf course. He enjoys getting involved in all things active, with a particular interest in combat sports. View details »
I worked in the NHS in the UK for 2 years after qualifying, rotating through a broad range of inpatient and outpatient specialties. These included musculoskeletal outpatients, hand therapy, neurology, paediatrics, trauma and orthopaedics, and general medicine. I moved to Christchurch in October 2024 and have been working here ever since. I have experience working for a club rugby team in Wales and supporting local teams in Christchurch.

Jack graduated from the University of Otago in 2023 and found his love for physiotherapy working in various clinic and with the Tasman Mako NPC rugby team. Jack enjoys the strength and conditioning side of physio and working with people who have longer term injuries and pain. He has completed a number of courses, with the most recent on the long-term management of ACL injuries and return to high level sports by the highly acclaimed Australian physiotherapist and lecturer, Tim McGrath. Over the last 2 years, he has provided sports physiotherapy across a wide range of sporting events including club rugby, mainland basketball, NZ cricket, ultimate frisbee and downhill mountain biking.
