Professional Experience:
I am a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who has had 12 years (and counting) experience while working with the general population and high performing athletes. In the past I have worked with sports teams including club football and representative rugby and sevens teams and have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges associated with each team. I am now relishing working with all active members of society, here in Whangamata.

Darryl has been working as a physio for over 20 years now and holds a Post Grad Diploma in Sports Physio from Otago University. He has spent 10 years in the UK where he owned his own clinics and has been involved in 2 Olympic and 1 Commonwealth Games. Darryl is passionate about using the latest evidence based treatments to get patients back to full health as soon as possible. Darryl's areas of interest include; ongoing low back pain, acupuncture, sports injury rehabilitation and complex injury management.
