Senior Physiotherapist. MHPrac in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, BHSc (Physiotherapy), TPI Golf Medical Lv3, NZRP. Simon Ro graduated with Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy at AUT in 2016 and completed Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2020. He has currently completed his Master of Health Practice majoring in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Simon is capable of treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from simple sprains to complex chronic pain. His physiotherapy assessment is based on inductive-reasoning process which allows him to develop questions to answer the patients’ problem. He has a high level of attention to detail and provides tailored treatment plans for his patients. He is a hands-on manual therapist who often utilises tissue massage, joint mobilisation, spinal manipulation and neural mobilisation to modulate pain. Aggie has been practicing Traditional Chinese Acupuncture since qualified in 2008. She is a member of New Zealand Register of Acupuncture and an approved ACC treatment provide. With her 10 years of outstanding clinical experiences in this field, she aims to help her patient to restore movements by combining her treatment with Physiotherapists to achieve maximum quality of care. She also specialises in Abdominal Acupuncture. It is a relatively new and rare, yet powerful and effective technique treating all areas of the body. This technique involves placing needles much shallower in the abdomen thus creating a less painful experiences compared traditional acupuncture techniques. This technique is aimed at patients who may prefer a much gentle, less invasive yet very effective treatment. Patient’s reviews stated that this new technique created a much more relaxing atmosphere that allowed them to dive deeper into muscle relaxation. Depending on the individual needs of the clients, Aggie will use a combination of acupuncture and cupping to deliver specialised individual needs.
