Bianca comes from a family of health care practitioners so it was inevitable she would take a similar path. Osteopathy appealed to her because of the holistic, patient-centred approach that it has. Her training consisted of five years of fulltime study at Unitec in Auckland, coming out of this with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Osteopathy. She visits a large range of patients coming through the doors including athletes, school children, farmers and elderly. She has a strong interest in sports and performance with a personal background in soccer, tennis and showjumping. She enjoys helping people get back up and running following injury and working with them to ensure prevention in the future.
Bianca is always working to further her skills through attending courses and collaboration with both osteopaths and other health care professionals and specialists.
Bianca is ACC registered and a member of Osteopaths NZ. View details »
I began studying when I was 18 at South Pacific College of Natural Medicine in Auckland. It was here where I earned my bachelor's degree in Natural and Herbal Medicine.
The approach I take with my patients is to find the root cause of their condition or symptom and focus my treatment on promoting the body's innate capacity for health.
In the clinic I see a lot of digestive issues, menstrual conditions and nervous system imbalances relating to stress, fatigue and mental health, as well as those who are wanting to utilise preventative medicine and maintain vibrant health. I believe health is a skill that can be developed and I work with my patients to help them do so.
I see men and women of all changes from children to elderly.
In addition to natural medicine, I am a Yoga Medicine® 200hr yoga teacher and am studying toward my 500hr, specialising in the nervous system, movement intelligence and women’s health. View details »
