Dhvanil’s journey into physiotherapy began with a deep passion for movement, exercise, and helping people reach their full potential.
He completed his Bachelor of Science, with a major in anatomy and minor in Sport and Exercise in 2021, before earning his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago.
With a good foundation in anatomy and rehabilitation, he is committed to delivering evidence-based, person-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.
In addition to physiotherapy, Dhvanil has a background in health and fitness. He obtained his Personal Training certification from the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness in 2017 and has since spent the last five years working as a gym instructor/trainer, including a CrossFit gym focusing on full-body functional movements.
His expertise in the fitness industry enables him to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance, helping individuals recover from injuries while enhancing their strength and mobility.
Dhvanil has also gained valuable hands-on experience as a sports medic, supporting junior colts, U85 club rugby teams, and the Wellington U16 development squad.

Teresa developed a passion for Physiotherapy while watching her brother rehab through a spinal cord injury.
Being able to be involved with his rehab in her teenage years helped her understand the demands and needs of rehabilitation.
Teresa graduated from AUT in 2011 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy). From there, she has been involved in private practices around Wellington. Teresa has worked with amazing mentors and have worked closely with a wide range of sporting groups including rugby league, crossfitters and HIITers.
She have a passion for strength and mobility training, biomechanics, post op rehab, ongoing upskilling, and building rapport.

Alec has spent his working life expanding his knowledge and refining his skill set in sports physiotherapy.
He has a holistic outlook to healthcare using the most up to date research paired with real clinical experience to leave others inspired, fit and strong.
After studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in physiology, Alec completed his physiotherapy degree from the University of Otago. Since then, he has worked in a variety of sports being exposed to and learning from top coaches, trainers, physiotherapists and sports physicians in New Zealand sport. Alec has worked at school, club, semi professional and professional level leaving him with a skill set to treat a wide range of injuries.
More recently, he has joined the Wellington Hurricanes as an assistant Physiotherapist for the 2024 Super Rugby Season. He is also about to return to his role as the assistant Physiotherapist for the Wellington Lions.
He is an ACC accredited Physio who has a passion for education, post-operative rehabilitation, return to sport testing and concussion rehabilitation.
