BSc Physiotherapy, MSc Physio (Ortho)
Since I can remember I wanted to become a Physiotherapist. There’s no greater calling than having the opportunity to help people heal (their bodies and mind) so they can return to what they love doing, whether it sport or recreation.
After completing my BSc Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, I soon discovered I was passionate about Orthopaedics and Sports Physiotherapy which lead me to complete my MSc in Orthopaedics in 2013. Since then, I’ve been blessed to treat some incredible patients and very talented athletes. Being an athlete myself (competed in Artistic Gymnastics at the Sydney 2000 Olympics) I’ve had numerous injuries in the past which I find has helped me better relate to my patients and truly understand what they’re going through when dealing with an injury.
I believe in using comprehensive hands-on therapy combined with a specifically tailored exercise-based rehab programme to not only treat your symptoms but more importantly to find the underlying source of your problem and work on finding a long term solution.
