Ben has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University. He has been working at Motus for the past 4 years. Previous to Motus, Ben worked as a Physio at Christchurch Hospital. He has experience working with local rugby teams ranging from High School First XV to premier club rugby and enjoys working with athletes to get them back to full fitness.
Ben has an interest in post-operative rehabilitation, lower limb injuries and in particular, working with runners and running injuries, completing running assessments to pick up factors that may contribute to injuries.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter as well as playing music, especially on guitar. View details »
I am a musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapist with 12 years’ experience gained from private practice clinics in New Zealand and Ireland. I obtained masters qualification of Health Practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Western Acupuncture in New Zealand. I specialise in women’s health physiotherapy. I have had extensive training from leading Irish and UK women’s health specialists. I have worked with different sports teams including rugby, cricket and football at club, school and provincial levels. My interest in Women’s Health includes the treatment and management of pelvic floor conditions and antenatal/postnatal issues. Other areas include incontinence of the bladder and bowel, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic pain. Ellen graduated with a Bachelor of physiotherapy at Otago University.
She is an ex-student of Burnside High School, and enjoys seeing current Burnside students coming through the clinic doors. Ellen has a particular interest in knees and ankles, and loves working with ACL injuries. Having worked at St Georges, Ellen also has experience in knee and hip replacements and other post-operative rehabilitation.
