Physiotherapist

Tamiho graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy 2017. She completed a physiotherapy qualifications in Japan 2004 and she has been working for 12 years. She received a license as a Bobath therapist in 2006 and her specialty is in neurological physiotherapy, in particular stroke, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury for adults and children. In 2012 She was awarded a scholarship that saw her travel to Denmark, Sweden, England and Australia in 2013 to learn about physiotherapy for spinal cord injury. This experience has influenced her decision to become a physiotherapist overseas to develop her career and foster a strong passion to contribute to society abroad. Outside of work, she has been involved with wheelchair basketball as a classifier and Chair Ski as a staff member. She has an interest in teaching softball and enjoys going skiing and mountain biking. View details »

Heli graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2016 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She worked for a year and a half in the UK and found a passion for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She spent time travelling in 2018 and fell in love with New Zealand. She has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy and has experience working in rugby and with junior athletes. In her spare time she loves to snowboard, surf and go running and cycling. She is currently training for the Queenstown Marathon in November. View details »

Physiotherapist

Katherine has joined the team at Motus Rangiora with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University. Katherine is one of the physios who worked with the Rangiora High School 1st XV Rugby in 2019. Katherine also runs the pilates classes at the Rangiora clinic. In her spare time, you'd most likely find her in the gym as she has recently qualified for weightlifting nationals in Auckland or scoping out the best baked goods and coffee. Katherine is interested in sports and post-operative rehab, and helping people remain active. View details »
