I have always been heavily involved in sport and physical fitness. I have grown up playing rugby union in the winter and competing in athletic competitions at the now demolished QE2 stadium in the summer. I now play European Handball for Canterbury and spend a lot of weekends travelling to Wellington and Auckland to compete. I have always taken a very meticulous approach to playing sport, which has led to a drive to constantly be better, and to find the knowledge of how to be better. I am now passionate in working with others, and helping them to simply be better, stronger and fitter.
Since graduating from Otago University I have been working in the health and fitness industry for 5 years. I have lived and worked overseas in Australia and Europe training with people ranging from your 9-5 office workers to high performance athletes. Highlights of my time overseas includes being the head trainer for a rugby union team in Southern England, and running my own personal training business in central London.
Since being back in Christchurch I have been working within the clinical population and have recently attained a post-graduate certificate in rehabilitation. I have been working with our physiotherapists to provide functional rehabilitation, injury prevention and strength and conditioning to all our clients. These services enhances our client’s journey, enabling us to lift people to the best of their abilities, from running after the kids to running a marathon.View details »
