Mr Avantha Hewavitharana

Physiotherapist

With an extensive background in different sports, Avantha graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2012. Keen to work within the sporting industry he opened Physio Hub and has been working alongside athletes and their coaches with treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention rogrammes. He is a New Zealand representative weightlifter and has also competed at national level in athletics. Heavily involved in cricket and soccer at club level, he provides ongoing physiotherapy to a number of local clubs and teams.
