Nicola graduated from AUT in 2006 with a BHSc Physiotherapy degree and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2011. She began working at the clinic in 2007. She enjoys the challenge of treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, with a special interest in the treatment of dizziness, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Nicola has been the physiotherapist for Te Papapa Onehunga Rugby Club and North Shore Rugby Club, and enjoys helping the local Mairangi Bay community while also raising a young family. She has an interest in many sports and has won gold medals rowing for New Zealand at University and Under 21 levels. View details »
Karl graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy from AUT. He ran his own practice out of Just Workout gym in Takapuna and gained valuable experience during his time as Physio for North Harbour Rugby League in the National Bartercard Cup and the Northcote Tigers club in the Fox Memorial premiership. He also worked with rugby, touch and softball teams in the acute sports setting.
He has represented North Harbour in Rugby and softball which he continues to play. Karl joined the team in 2007 looking to broaden his range of patients and improve his skills and knowledge, going on to become a certified practitioner of the Kinesio Taping Method. He has a lifelong love of sports and still actively competes around raising a young family.

Nicolette completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) at AUT in 2025. She has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, and is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love through evidence-based treatment, active rehabilitation, and a hands-on approach.
Outside the clinic, Nicolette has always had a strong interest in sport and physical activity, with a background in netball, soccer, and athletics.
She continues to lead an active lifestyle and enjoys strength and conditioning training, running, hiking, and yoga. This passion for movement underpins her interest in injury prevention, load management, and long-term health.
