Daniel is a qualified physiotherapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a BS in Kinesiology, complemented by an Orthopaedic Residency. He is a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist, ACC registered, and holds advanced credentials including Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist certification (USA) and OccuPro training in Functional Capacity Evaluations. With over seven years of clinical experience, Daniel has worked across hospital outpatient departments, skilled nursing facilities, private clinics, and telehealth services in the United States, as well as co-founding a virtual physiotherapy platform.
His areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, vocational rehabilitation, Functional Capacity Evaluations, sports rehab, stroke and neurological rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Daniel’s patient-centred approach focuses on clear communication, tailored exercise plans, and strategies to foster independence. He integrates pain and functional neuroscience, exercise physiology, and progressive loading principles to help clients achieve meaningful recovery and long-term resilience.
