I graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013. My early career involved working across multiple settings, including neurological rehab for stroke and traumatic brain injuries, outpatient sports orthopedics, functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), and return-to-work programs. To further develop my skills, I completed the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019–2020 and later obtained my Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in the United States. Following this, I worked on integrating telehealth and other technology to enhance patient education and independence in rehabilitation. I bring a patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing clear communication, individualized exercise plans, and effective pain management strategies, including for chronic pain. My experience working with diverse populations—from athletes to patients with varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds—has taught me the importance of tailoring rehabilitation to each individual’s unique needs. I am now living in New Zealand while my partner completes her PhD at the University of Otago. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy hiking, traveling with my partner and our newborn, and designing board games—a hobby that reflects my love for creativity and problem-solving. View details »
