1998. She now has over 24 years of experience, the majority being in MSK therapy. She spent 6
years in the UK working in the busy NHS system as a specialist MSK Physio before returning to
South Africa where she has run her own successful practice and continued to work in a practice

My name is Evani and I come from the enchanting city of Durban, South Africa. I completed my BSc Physiotherapy (Hons) Degree at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2003. Prior to arriving in Palmerston North in October 2023, I worked in the public health sector. I have extensive experience in medical, surgical, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, ICU and rehabilitation. I have completed my Post Graduate training in Dry Needling and Executive Leadership and Management. I am passionate about my career and enjoy working with clients in achieving personalised and individualised goals to achieve their optimal level of function. I enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team at Proactive.
