I’m Tristan. I’ve been a private musculoskeletal physiotherapist for the last 8 years. I graduated in Auckland, but I have been living in the UK for the last few years and recently moved home (2020) with my fiancée for us to be closer to our family and friends. I have worked through the years with a variety of high-end athletes and sports teams (here and abroad) as well as enjoying my sessions with my weekend warriors too.
My role entails applying musculoskeletal physiotherapy knowledge to a wide range of complex conditions to provide the highest level of public and private care, tailored to the client’s individual requirements. My personal skills involve acupuncture and dry needling, sports prescription, acute and chronic rehabilitation (including hydrotherapy) and manual techniques (Mckenzie, Mulligans and Manipulations). I also liaise with a range of different medical professionals (surgeons and sports specialists) in a multidisciplinary environment to ensure the quickest return to sport, work or general activities of daily living with specialised treatment plans.
I can also design and implement custom personal training plans to focus on improving mechanical and functional issues to get clients back to their best!
Personally, I love the outdoors, extreme sports, fishing and rugby, as well as experiencing the foodie scene in Auckland and beyond.
