After moving from the UK in 2011, Maddie attended and graduated from AUT in 2017. Maddie started her career working within the private practice sector. She has since joined the Proactive team in 2019. Due to her own personal rehabilitation journey Maddie has a special interest in rehabilitating chronic and acute ankle and lower limb injuries. She also has a keen special interest in concussion rehabilitation both acute and persisting symptoms, vestibular and dizziness issues.

Charlotte qualified from the University of Brighton, UK in 2010. She worked in the NHS briefly before returning home to Ireland in 2012, where she continued to develop her passion in managing musculoskeletal & sports injuries, working with sports teams and high performing athletes. She spent ten years working with the Football Association of Ireland, with underage international squads and the Women’s National Team, while running a successful private practice. She completed a Masters in Sports & Exercise Medicine in 2018. In 2024, she moved to New Zealand with her family and is enjoying the Kiwi way of life. Her special interests include shoulder pain, hip & groin injuries, pelvic girdle pain, and returning to fitness post-partum. She is also trained in Pilates, orthotic prescription, and dry needling. Albert arrived in New Zealand in 1996, living on a lifestyle block and running his own physiotherapy practice for many years.
With over 30 years’ experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Albert has been heavily involved in post-operative rehabilitation working with orthopaedic surgeons and occupational therapists to ensure patients are work ready and safe to return to the workforce. Albert works across the full field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy but has a keen interest in shoulder and spinal injuries.
Albert also holds a diploma in traditional Acupuncture which has allowed him to use a holistic approach to healing and has been a great asset to ensure gentle pain relief for his patients.
In previous years, Albert has been involved in showjumping, fencing and modern pentathlon but these days, his current fitness regime involves operating a chainsaw on the sloping hills of his lifestyle block in Tauranga.
