Mya graduated from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Her diverse placements reinforced the importance of patient’s health literacy, whereby educating the patient effectively about their diagnosis, treatment and support options is a core focus of Mya’s. Mya’s experience competing at a high-performance level in triathlons, swimming and athletics, is one of the main contributing factors for choosing physiotherapy as a career, but Mya also has a passion for helping people return to activities they love to do and remain active.
