Amos is long standing employee of Physiosouth working on and off since graduating in 2008. He started his career in Physiotherapy following a series of ACL injuries. His main interest is sporting and emergency physiotherapy working for Canterbury Cricket for seven seasons, High Performance Sport New Zealand and most recently Canoe Racing New Zealand. He currently works with High Performance Sport Athletes, the Christchurch Emergency Department and for Physiosouth. His extensive qualifications include being a credentialed McKenzie practitioner, qualified acupuncturist and his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. His recent projects have included presenting the Canterbury youth bowling seminar, developing guidelines for the Canterbury Health pathways and recently supporting a Paralympic Campaign to Japan. Ellen graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Originally from Christchurch, she is delighted to be based within her home town. Ellen has a particular interest in combining hands on treatment with gym/home based rehab, dry needling, and pre and post operative care amongst other things. Having previously worked in musculoskeletal clinics and in a private hospital setting, Ellen has experience in a range of conditions and is able to treat athletic and not so athletic populations. She is a firm believer in patients taking the reins for their injuries, and strives to provide good education so that her patients fully understand their conditions and can make informed choices regarding their treatment. Josh graduated from the University of Otago in 2014 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and in 2019 completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Health. Josh works at our Moorhouse and Cityfitness Clinics. Josh is passionate about helping people on their journey to return to the activities they love. Josh’s areas of interest are ACL/knee rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, vocational (occupational) rehabilitation and sports rehabilitation (Basketball, Rugby and Running). Josh has previously worked with Sydenham Rugby, Canterbury Rams Basketball and BBNZ (Physiotherapist for NZ U15/16 Boys Basketball team).
