Wayne qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Health Physiotherapy from University of Otago. He has a strong interest in rehabilitation for sports injuries, work-related musculoskeletal disorders, and post-operative rehabilitation. His clinical skills involve manual therapy, advanced dry needling, neurokinetic therapy, and exercise prescription. He can perform movement analysis using Functional Movement Screen and running gait assessment. He also provides vocational rehabilitation to return injured worker to their pre-injury capacities through work task analysis, worksite assessment and functional rehabilitation. He is the team physiotherapist for Sydenham Rugby Division 1. He works in a holistic approach to find the root cause of the problem and is not just treating the symptoms. Josh graduated from the University of Otago in 2014 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and in 2019 completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Health. Josh works at our Moorhouse and Cityfitness Clinics. Josh is passionate about helping people on their journey to return to the activities they love. Josh’s areas of interest are ACL/knee rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, vocational (occupational) rehabilitation and sports rehabilitation (Basketball, Rugby and Running). Josh has previously worked with Sydenham Rugby, Canterbury Rams Basketball and BBNZ (Physiotherapist for NZ U15/16 Boys Basketball team). Cam is born and bred in Christchurch. He is passionate about sport and getting people back to their active lifestyles or helping implement activity in peoples lives. He competed competitively at a national level for over 14 years in swimming and has had the opportunity to work with many swim clubs in Christchurch over the past few years. Cam is dedicated to getting the most out of his athletes and can do this on a injury treatment, prevention or a strength and conditioning capacity. He has done post graduate courses on shoulder treatment/prevention under Angela Cadogan, Dry needling and McKenzie. Cam has worked with multiple rugby teams as a side line physio both in Dunedin and Christchurch. His special interest areas are shoulders, ACL/knee injuries and getting people in the community into an activity or sport they can love. He is passionate about getting you back to where you want to be and can understand the frustrations of being injured weeks out from a big event.
