I graduated in 2022 from Cardiff University with a BSc. I have worked in the NHS Wales for the past 2 years where I have rotated through a range of inpatient and outpatient settings. These include MSK, hand therapy, community, paediatrics, stroke rehab, trauma and orthopaedics, and general medicine.
I come from a farming family in the UK and have a passion for the outdoors. I have grown up horse riding and have frequently competed in eventing ever since. Studied physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2020. Following placement experiences in inpatient orthopedics, falls and frailty, hands burns and plastics I was aware musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy was where I wanted to specialise. Therefore, I began working in outpatient MSK within the NHS in the UK after graduating. A job role that allowed me to be involved with management of an array of acute to chronic conditions, attend regular development courses from world leading experts and enjoy the rehabilitation journey of so many services users from injury to fulfilment of life. Additionally, I worked with club and county rugby sides for pitch side and clinic-based rehab. Jack graduated from Otago University in 2023 after completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. As someone who has always been passionate about sport and exercise, he has found physiotherapy to be a great opportunity to help people of all activity levels to get back to the hobbies, sports or work they enjoy. During his studies, he realised the importance of taking a global approach to rehab and utilising a combination of exercise prescription, manual therapy and education to guide people in achieving their goals.
