Nikki is a registered physiotherapist who focuses on back and neck pain treatment and management. She is also a qualified Pilates instructor and has an interest in the biomechanics and injuries of horse riders.
In 1995, Nikki qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Leeds Metropolitan University and then went on to complete her MSc (Masters) in Manual Therapy full time at University College London, sitting her membership exams to qualify as a member of the Manipulation Association of Charted Physiotherapists in the UK in 2000. While working in the UK, Nikki was a visiting clinical lecturer and a student supervisor.
In 2002, she set up her own busy private practise, working closely with musculoskeletal doctors. During both her time with the NHS and in private practice, Nikki has worked extensively with musculoskeletal doctors and surgeons. Nikki moved to New Zealand in 2007 and has continued to develop her interest and post graduate training in spinal musculoskeletal pathologies and injuries, and continues to maintain close links with spinal surgeons.View details »
