Physiotherapist;

Tony qualified at Leeds university in 1998 with a physiotherapy honours degree. He went on to work for the largest teaching hospital in Europe, Leeds Teaching Hospitals, for 5 years. Here he rotated throughout multiple physiotherapy specialities before specialising in musculoskeletal injuries. After marrying, he travelled around the world for a year before setting up his own practice in the UK, treating many high performance ultra-distance runners and cyclists. He also provided physiotherapy services to the Leeds Rhinos professional rugby league team. Tony his wife and two children emigrated to New Zealand in 2009 and settled on the Hibiscus Coast. He has a particular specialist interest in shoulder injuries and work based problems. Tony has been keen squash player for a number of years. He regularly treats local players and has worked on the National Trans Tasman Junior Squash tournament: this involved treating the top juniors players in New Zealand and Australia. He is a hands on physiotherapist who continually strives for the best outcomes for his patients: he provides best practice care through manual therapy and progressive rehabilitation programs.
