Recovery Area

Recovery Area

Recovery

Our recovery space is equipped with Normatec compression boots and percussion therapy. $30 for 45 minute recovery session Normatec is the leader in rapid recovery - giving you a competitive edge that only elite athletes have access to. Compressed air massages your limbs, mobilizes fluid, and speeds recovery with the Normatec pulse massage pattern. You will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the connected attachments are moulded to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, then calves, and then your upper thigh. Similar to the kneading and stroking done during a massage, each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works its way up your limb. What are the benefits? INCREASES BLOOD FLOW/ CIRCULATION - Normatec’s patented pulse massage pattern employs three key techniques – pulsing, distal release, and gradients. PROMOTES HEALING AND RECOVERY - Integrate your recovery session seamlessly into your training plan. DECREASES MUSCLE FATIGUE AFTER ACUTE EXERCISE - Flush out soreness and bring oxygenated blood to the part of the body furthest from the heart. When should I use the Normatec? Anyone involved in physical acivity who wants to optimise recovery, promote healing and reduce muscle fatigue. The Normatec is ideally suited for use after physical acivity - directly afterwards or within a few days of exercsie. View details »
