Mr Roy McDonald

Physiotherapist

Roy is a born and bred Southlander who graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2008. Roy later completed a Postgraduate diploma in Health Science in 2022. He has worked in both private practice and Hospitals in New Zealand and Australia. He enjoys most sports but is mostly found running after his young children these days. Roy has a special interest in treating patients with back pain, concussion and persistent pain conditions. View details »

Miss Kate Simmonds

Physiotherapist

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2018. Kate is a born and bred Southlander, growing up in Woodlands and attending James Hargest College. She is excited to have returned home to be working in Invercargill in 2019. She has a keen interest in most sports, participating in netball and volleyball socially and enjoying motorbike riding outside of work. Kate will be the team Physiotherapist for the Woodlands premier rugby team in 2019 as well as running the physiotherapy clinics at both Verdon and Aurora College. Mr Mitchell Kempton

Physiotherapist

Mitchell is a born and bred Southlander who has returned after graduating from Otago in 2021 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. He completed a placement with Sportsmed in 2021 and is excited to be back involved with the team. He is the team physiotherapist for Star Ruby Club, as well as running the clinic at Southland Boys' High School. MItchell is passionate about sport and the outdoors, spending a lot of time playing squash, or riding motorbikes and surfing with friends. View details »
