I was born in the Wairarapa and was heavily involved in track and field and football leading me towards a career in physiotherapy. Studying at the University of Otago, I finished my physiotherapy degree in 2013. I have worked in private musculoskeletal physio practices in Wellington, Auckland and the UK before settling in Nelson in 2022. As an athlete I competed at national level for 7 years which has helped me develop a specialization in running biomechanics.
