Jade obtained her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree through Otago Polytechnic and is currently working towards her hand therapy registration here in Aotearoa. Jade is passionate about helping people regain hand and upper limb function for everyday activities they need or want to engage in. Ricky is a South African trained physio who qualified from the University of Cape Town. He has split his career between public service in South Africa and in sports medicine and rehabilitation in Dubai. This experience has allowed him to develop his skills in successfully treating a wide scope range of patients. Ricky has a deep appreciation for the complexities and diversity all individuals offer and has a special interest in pain management and musculoskeletal therapy. His approach to you will be practical and holistic with a strong focus on education, exercise and lifestyle.
Personally, Ricky has just relocated to Hawkes Bay (and Aotearoa New Zealand!) in March with his wonderful wife Jodie (also a physio ¿¿). Outside of work you’ll catch him on the basketball court, exploring HB with his significant other, reading something about neuroscience or psychology or DJ’ing in his lounge.
