Victoria studied Physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology, graduating in 2021.
Victoria was awarded the ML Roberts Research Publication prize and AUT Asics first place prize for her research on 'Resistance-based rehabilitation exercises to progressively load the hamstring muscle group using electromyographic analysis' and has developed a strong affinity for evidence-based practice to inform treatment and rehabilitation for clients.
Victoria was initially drawn to physiotherapy while being an active part of her grandfather's neurological rehabilitation following stroke. Following many years of classical ballet and long distance running, along with her own rehabilitation for hip injuries her interests towards musculoskeletal physiotherapy grew into her passion.
Victoria herself knows the benefits of strength-based training and will debut in this year's 2023 WBFF Australian bodybuilding competition.
Victoria is currently the physio for the Northshore Tigers Premier Rugby League Team and West Coast Rangers female premier football team, and previously, physio for Silverdale U21 Rugby Union team. She loves working with young aspiring athletes to promote performance and sustainability in their chosen sport.
With an excellent understanding of the impact specific, individualized and progressive rehabilitation has, Victoria can help her patients to overcome injury, and hence excel in their chosen sport.
Victoria uses a collaborative approach in her practice through educating, supporting and assisting her patients enhancement of strength, mobility and conditioning so that they reach their full potential and live a life without limitations. View details »
