Áine completed her BSc Physiotherapy degree at the University of Ulster, where she graduated with first-class honours as the top student in her year group in 2023.
After graduation, Áine spent two years working within the National Health Service (NHS), gaining broad clinical experience across intensive care, elective and emergency surgery, inpatient fractures, spinal cord injuries, and musculoskeletal outpatient settings. Alongside this role, she provided pitch-side physiotherapy support for local sports teams. For the past four months, Áine has been working in a physiotherapy clinic at a ski resort in Japan, continuing to build her expertise in managing sports-related injuries in an active, high-demand environment.
Sport has played a major role in both her personal life and professional interests. She is passionate about activity and movement, and enjoys coaching juvenile athletics and camogie teams at home in Ireland. As a young athlete, Áine represented Ireland on national track and field teams and won multiple underage national titles. She continues to enjoy running, camogie, and Pilates, and recently took up snowboarding while working in Japan. Her background in competitive sport has given her a deep understanding of the physical and psychological demands of performance, which underpins her approach to helping individuals return confidently to movement and sport.View details »
