Jimmy graduated from AUT in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry. He has a particular interest in the sports podiatry area, management of pre/post operative injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, with a specific interest in return to sport. He has recently competed in the touch rugby world cup in Nottingham, UK. He have huge interest in treating sports injuries and working on biomechanics. His passion is to help people get back to performing at their best whether that be a weekend warrior, high-level athlete or someone that just wants to enjoy their daily walks. Heewook was born in Korea and has been living in New Zealand since 2001. His interest in Traditional Oriental Medicine began as a child who sprained ankle every week by tripping over when there was nothing, and got treated with acupuncture everytime and every time it worked like magic.
He has completed his Bachelor of Health Science major in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine) degree at the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine in Auckland and has been working within the Auckland Area since 2014.
He has experience in treating different varieties of injuries and disorders. His main goal is to help his patients recover faster by achieving good circulation and harmony within their body. His treatment differs depending on patient’s symptoms and syndrome with a holistic approach and a focus on relaxing the muscle and blood circulation to support healing. He believes that the combination of Acupuncture and Physiotherapy would definitely vitalize the treatment result.
