Liz Oliver BSc Sport and Exercise Science (First Class Hons) and MSc Physiotherapy (Commendation)
Liz recently relocated from Newcastle (England) to New Zealand in September 2025 to explore new professional and lifestyle opportunities in this beautiful country. Liz graduated firstly in 2017 from Teesside University in Sport and Exercise science. This embedded her passion to pursue a career in helping people stay active and independent either following injury or as they age, leading to completing her Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2021 at Northumbria University.
Since completing her degree Liz has been working as a physiotherapist in the NHS for 4 years in a multitude of key clinical rotations in musculoskeletal, orthopeadic, geriatric and respiratory areas. Liz’s main interest has been found in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with focus on holistic care to enable individuals to pursue all their activities no matter how big or small. Liz uses a mixture of exercise prescription, manual therapies and health education to support each individual's personal rehabilitation goals.
Outside of work Liz has a keen interest in all things active and sport. Main active hobbies at the moment include weightlifting, tennis and running (hoping to complete a marathon over the next 6 months). This is combined with downtime hobbies of yoga, reading and listening to podcasts. View details »
