Originally from Canada, Jeff moved to New Zealand in 2007 and has worked with Active+ since 2009. Holds Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy and a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Otago, he specialises in sports injuries, chronic pain, and helping athletes—from casual to elite— recover from physical setbacks. He’s worked with rugby and Cook Islands Women’s 7s Rugby team, treats a wide range of active people, and brings a mix of expertise and dry humour to his practice. Kate obtained her Physiotherapy undergraduate degree from AUT University, graduating in 2018. Having worked in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy since then, Kate joined Active+ in January 2021. Kates clinical areas of interest include exercise rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention as well as taking Pilates classes. Kates utilises a holistic approach to her clients, encompassing the physical and mental aspects of both injury and recovery. Kirsten graduated from the University of Otago in 2007 and has since practised in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. She completed post graduate training in Western Acupuncture in 2011 and gained a clinical Masters in Rehabilitation in 2016. She is also a PINC & STEEL certified cancer rehabilitation physiotherapist. Her ongoing commitment to professional development has enhanced her knowledge, clinical reasoning skills and rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, biomechanics, ergonomics, acupuncture, therapeutic exercise science and complex injury/illness management . Over her career, Kirsten has gained vast experience in an array of different physiotherapy settings, including public hospitals, private musculoskeletal clinics, high- level sport and within multi-disciplinary teams.
