Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago Uni in 1999 and over the ensuing years she has worked in many Physiotherapy settings in NZ and abroad before taking a break to bring up her 3 children.
Two years ago Andrea began at Freedom Health as a client. After a long history of lower back problems she is now a complete convert to the benefits of Pilates.
So much so that she decided to undertake her Pilates training and is now part of the Pilates Therapy team at Freedom Health.
She enjoys working with people to remain active and feel good about themselves and Pilates is an excellent way to do this.

After graduating in 1998 from Melbourne University Cath spent many years working within some of the largest Sports Medicine Practices in Australia. Working closely with top Sports Medicine Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons and other health professionals gave her an amazing grounding in all aspects of injury assessment and management.This passion led to the study of Clinical Pilates and she fell in love with the use of Pilates equipment to help facilitate movement and enhance recovery. Cath works closely with local hip surgeons and other related specialties and is also developing specific Hip and Lumbar Rehabilitation programs for our clients. After completing her Physiotherapy degree at Otago University in 2006 Hannah worked in private practices in both Christchurch and London.

After studying Phys Ed at the University of Otago Jane headed to the University of Queensland to complete a Post Graduate Masters in Physiotherapy Studies.
With a continued desire to keep learning she recently completed post graduate papers in musculoskeletal rehabilitation through the University of Otago and is also trained in DMA Clinical Pilates.
Her strong sporting background and love of physical activity has led her to work with representative sports teams which has developed a special interest in pelvic control and lower limb injuries and rehabilitation. Recently, Jane was the clinical lead for a Ministry of Health pilot program for osteoarthritis patients of the hip or knee.

Having graduated from Otago Uni in 1995 Jo has worked as a Physiotherapist in the US and UK before returning to NZ.
Jo is passionate about exercise based rehabilitation & muscle balance along with manual therapy which she combines with an interest in knee and lumbar spine rehabilitation. Over the years Jo has gained experience working with elite athletes and recreational athletes young and old.
She also has a particular interest in tennis players and golfers.
