Recently relocated from Wales, Anna is someone who thrives in the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, exploring new trails, or just soaking up nature. You’ll also find her a regular at the gym and love’s staying active. Lauren has been working in the private sector, with interests in all musculoskeletal injuries, dry needling, sports, biomechanics and long term pain. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017 with an honours in Physiotherapy. Since then Lauren has trained in both mat and reformer Pilates and used this as part of her rehabilitation process.
She has done placements in Spinal cord injuries in London Orthopaedic hospital, worked in paediatric placements and cardiopulmonary. These placements allowed Lauren to learn more about mobilisations, hydrotherapy and particular hands on approaches to help individuals.
Lauren is a big advocate of treating the body as a whole and addressing other factors that could be resulting in the injury or pain, this could be through exercise, nutrition or lifestyle balance. Janaka studied Physiotherapy in Auckland graduating in 2005 and has 17 year's clinical experience in private practice including 5 years in London.
Janaka has a special interest in treating sporting and complex spinal injuries and has a keen interest in shockwave therapy, tendon injuries and has completed a post-graduate certificate in orthopaedic manual therapy.
He has been involved with club rugby and soccer teams. More recently he has provided Physio cover at New Zealand Surfing nationals. View details »
