Lauren has been working in the private sector, with interests in all musculoskeletal injuries, dry needling, sports, biomechanics and long term pain. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017 with an honours in Physiotherapy. Since then Lauren has trained in both mat and reformer Pilates and used this as part of her rehabilitation process.
She has done placements in Spinal cord injuries in London Orthopaedic hospital, worked in paediatric placements and cardiopulmonary. These placements allowed Lauren to learn more about mobilisations, hydrotherapy and particular hands on approaches to help individuals.
Lauren is a big advocate of treating the body as a whole and addressing other factors that could be resulting in the injury or pain, this could be through exercise, nutrition or lifestyle balance. Alfred is a graduate of AUT, with a keen interest in providing quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy to both the general public and athletes. Alfred is well practiced in exercise prescription, soft tissue therapy techniques and acupuncture. His interests are wrestling, mixed martial arts and weight training. As a veteran professional wrestler, he has had his fair share of injuries, and incorporates those experiences into his practice. Georgina graduated from AUT in 2015 and has worked in private practice since then. She also completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2020 and has focused her skills on Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy ever since. Georgina places a high value on holistic treatment methods and tailoring her treatments specifically to each client.
Georgina has a range of experience in treating different Musculoskeletal conditions however, has a keen interest in sports rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, exercise therapy, manual therapy, and dry needling. She also enjoys treating complex shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. Georgina has worked for over 5 years in Rugby, Rugby League, Tag, Touch, and Netball and enjoys working on the sideline with teams.
