Nicole graduated from Wintec in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with first class Honours. She joins the Proactive team with a desire to work with people to get them back to doing what’s important to them, and values taking the time to get to know them. Nicole has a special interest in musculoskeletal/orthopaedic and sports-related physiotherapy. Along with experience in the musculoskeletal, concussion, paediatric, geriatric, and community physiotherapy spaces, Nicole spent time prior to her degree working in physiotherapy and podiatry clinics in customer service and reception roles. Outside of the clinic, Nicole enjoys the beach, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, chocolate, and getting too competitive with board games. She is also kept busy with two kids and a dog! Dane graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2012 with a BSc in Sport Science and in 2016 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. Having a special interest in sports medicine and orthopaedic physiotherapy, Dane has spent most of his career working in these lines and therefore specialises in sports injuries and musculo-skeletal injuries. Dane’s approach to treatment involves a fair combination of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation, ensuring the patient is treated as a whole and not just an injury. Ollie graduated Brunel University London with first class honours in 2016. He initially spent time working in the NHS, sporting and private settings in the UK before moving to New Zealand in early 2019. Ollie has worked in a variety of sporting settings and has a specialist interest in sporting and lower limb injuries. He has previously worked with BOP Cricket and ND cricket. He is currently Clinical Lead Physio for the Waikato, Gisborne and Bay of Plenty Regions. He is also lead physio for the WaiBop Magic netball team and is contracted to Netball NZ to provide Physio cover to ANZ and Silver Fern players within the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
