Growing up in a small town on the Kapiti Coast, Ryan moved down south to carry out his studies at Otago University, gaining a bachelor of physiotherapy.
Ryan appreciates the value of a close-knit community, and the importance of fostering good connections, listening to clients’ stories, and collaboration – properties that make him a great fit for Active Health Rangiora.
Ryan’s passion for physiotherapy was sparked through his involvement with multiple sports, with a special focus on rugby and volleyball. This gave Ryan an appreciation towards the biomechanics of body movement, rehabilitation, and the role of physiotherapy in helping clients achieve their goals.
Ryan has a keen interest in upper limb physiotherapy, with a particular emphasis on shoulder rehabilitation. His ability to work with people of all abilities and life stages allows him to tailor his approach to each individual's unique needs.
When he’s not immersed in physiotherapy, Ryan loves making the most of his free time -whether it’s spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, or relaxing at the beach. View details »
