Amanda is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist, returning to Sacred Heart Girls' College as school physiotherapist — bringing with her the unique perspective of both an Old Girl and a current SHGC parent.
A director of Active Health Waikato, she graduated from AUT before completing her Clinical Master's in Health Practice with Distinction (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sport & Exercise Science), and has since built an extensive career in private practice across the Waikato.
She specialises in knee, ankle and sporting injuries, with a particular focus on adolescent athletes - guiding students through early injury management, rehabilitation, and safe return to sport, PE and everyday school life.
Alongside her school role, Amanda works with athletes from community sport through to high-performance competition, having served as physiotherapist for the New Zealand U21 Netball Team throughout their 2023–2025 Youth World Cup campaign and worked across a number of high-performance netball programmes. She also sits on the Sports Medicine New Zealand Board.
