Amiria (Meeds) is a newly graduated Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Wintec after her passion was sparked by the support she received from physiotherapists while representing Aotearoa New Zealand in Basketball during high school. She has gained extensive experience working with various sports teams including at Hamilton netball courts, Hamilton City Under 18 Netball Team, Hamilton Old Boys Premiership Women's Rugby Team, Waikato Women's Rugby League Team, and the Taniwharau Premiership and Reserves Men's Rugby League Teams. Born and raised in Kirikiriroa/Hamilton and immersed in te reo Maori me ona tikanga, Meeds is passionate about kaupapa Maori and aims to integrate it into her physiotherapy practice, believing that true health is achieved when the body, mind, and spirit are in balance. Jill is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with 20+ years' expertise working across the Waikato region, having rejoined the practice with extensive experience working with Waikato Netball, NZ Hockey, and conducting Workplace Assessments. She specialises in back problems while enjoying all aspects of physiotherapy, always making a point of explaining her findings and rehabilitation plans to ensure patients work together collaboratively for the best possible results. Hayley is a dedicated Physiotherapist who joined Active Health in October 2022 after completing her studies at University of Otago School of Physiotherapy in 2020. She has gained valuable experience in musculoskeletal, aged care, post-operative orthopaedics and cardiac physiotherapy at a Hamilton clinic, while completing additional training in Women's health and reformer Pilates. Growing up playing football and being exposed to the benefits of physical activity, Hayley developed her passion for physiotherapy after spending time with a physiotherapist during her adolescent years and now has keen interests in Women's health and adolescent athletes. She enjoys empowering clients of all ages during their injury rehabilitation to manage and return to their full function, while staying active in her spare time teaching reformer Pilates and hosting a run club with FEMMI.
