Robyn is a highly experienced Hand Therapist with 25+ years in her field. Robyn treats the full range of hand, wrist and elbow conditions and has a special interest in complex trauma and neurological conditions of the hand. Born and raised in Australia, Robyn graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from The University of Queensland and subsequently worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. During this time she worked alongside the hand therapy and plastics teams, which inspired her to continue her training in Hand Therapy. After moving to New Zealand, Robyn completed intensive postgraduate studies to become a Registered Hand Therapist (and expert in the upper limb). Before joining Align Health, Robyn was the Clinical Leader of Hand Therapy, Burns and Scar Management at Waikato Hospital. With 20+ years experience in her field, Rebecca has broad experience across the full range of conditions and injuries affecting the hand, wrist and fingers. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) and a Postgraduate Certificate (Hand Therapy) from AUT. Before joining Align Health in 2017, Rebecca spent 10+ years in the Hand Therapy department at Waikato Hospital, as well as a two years working in hospitals in the UK. Rebecca works closely with local specialists and GPs to make sure her clients get the best possible care and treatment. She has a special interest in acute trauma, fractures, nerve and tendon rehab and scar management. Rebecca is also a Clinical Director in the Hand Therapy at Align Health, ensuring the highest level of care is maintained and supporting professional excellence across the Hand Therapy team.
